Color Ray’s remix of Biologik – Sarin out on Particles

November 12, 2012

Progressive and Deep House producer Color Ray’s remix of Biologik – Sarin releases today on Particles (Proton Radio). Color Ray, who is based out of Pune, India, is only the second Indian producer after Vinayak A to feature a release on the highly acclaimed record label.

With Nikko.Z and Ewan Rill having already played the remix on their radio show, Sarin (Color Ray Remix) has also received support from the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Luis Junior, Marcelo Vasami, Nikko.Z, Kobana, Ewan Rill, Arthur Deep, Soulwerk, Lank, and dPen.

After releasing Color Ray – Cat in the Hat (Original Mix) on Abstract Theory Recordings and Praveen Achary – Morning and More (Color Ray Remix) on Dazzle On, this will be the 3rd release from the upcoming producer. The Color Ray remix of Morning and More received incredible support with Sound Process playing it on his Proton Radio set and was even charted by Hernan Cattaneo on his Resident podcast.

Release Info:

Newcomer Shrinivas Sundar (producing under the guise of Color Ray) first came to Proton Label Director, Jason Wohlstadter's attention through his remix work of Praveen Achary on "Dazzle On", part of the Proton label roster, based in Mumbai and Delhi on the Indian sub-continent. Color Ray carries forward a rich textured sound through his remix of Biologik. Starting out slightly deeper and darker than both the original and Nigel Good remix, Shrinivas' track builds subtly with its deep pulsating bass line before exploding into the glittering hypnotic piano motif of the original.
